Heritage, quality and craftsmanship are hallmarks of Haws home and garden accessories. The Haws company was established as J.Haws in 1886. Its founder, John Haws first worked out his improved design and method of manufacture from a French made waterpot and designed a can with perfect balance. Whether full, half full or empty the can could be used without undue strain to the operator. To this day, the original design has not been altered in any major way. Each of Haws hand crafted products are unique, yet every one of them is made to the finest quality by expert craftsmen and women. In 1911, John Haws was awarded the Royal Horticultural Society's Banksian Medal - with Haws being invited to the first ever Chelsea Flower Show.
